Stroud based French born photographer Cyril Laffort moved to England 14 years ago. After completing the City and Guilds in London, Cyril specialised in black and white photography and hand printing, exhibiting work in Gloucestershire while running the Stroud Valley Artspace darkroom. In 2002 he started community based projects to engage individuals into the practice of photography.

Over the years as a freelancer and more recently as a press photographer for The Stroud News & Journal, Cyril has worked with artists, performers, organisations and individuals from various backgrounds. Cyril is now devoted to full time freelance work.
